I cannot download the latest version of McAfee Total Protection. McAfee support told me it was because I was running Windows 10 Home in Test Mode. I tried updating Windows 10, but from all indications, what I am running is the most current version. I was able to remove that watermark about test mode, but that did not resolve the problem.

In reply to Patti Fisher's post on June 21, 2023. Hold down Windows+R > type control.exe > find Programs and Features > check this list to see if McAfee is still present on your computer. If you don't have this program, please share the popup you see.
To install McAfee, you would need to switch out of S mode. However, it is not necessary to install a third-party antivirus. Windows Security already provides the protection you need.
