The Arts Center is a collaboration between the Cannon Community Playhouse (est. 1980), the Cannon County Historical Society, and the Cannon Association of Craft Artists. The original Arts Center, a 7,000 square-foot facility, opened in March 1991. The facility has undergone multiple expansions [1] and currently occupies 18,000 square feet.

The Tennessee Theatre is a movie palace in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. The theater was built in 1928 in the 1908 Burwell Building, considered Knoxville's first skyscraper. [1] The theater and Burwell Building were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, [2] and the theater was extensively restored in the early 2000s.
