The consistent ones have all been fixed, but a multitude of other odd behaviors that may or may not happen are still present in the final version of the game and won't be fixed. New Lands has more gameplay elements than Classic and Two Crowns has even more than New Lands. Also Two Crowns is the only one with multiplayer. This happens from time to time in Kingdom: Classic (no longer maintained). It should show you the "The Crown is Safe" message below the historical plaque with the number of the day, and then the credits, and then a new monarch in a newly generated land. Maybe the next time. It's indeed a random bug, that may or may not happen.
Do it at least each 10 or 20 days, and keep all files until the challenge is over, in case one of them gets corrupted. Also, if the frames get too low, maybe pause the recruitment of new archers. I think you could play either and get a positive experience. Classic is all about surviving until defeat or victory then playing until the inevitable defeat anyway. New Lands has an objective beyond survival along with a myriad of new structures and features. Play either, the game is still enjoyable regardless. New lands just has more content. 3.
Kingdom Classic unbalanced? I just spent 10h in last two days with maybe 5 long attempts to "finish" this game. Long story short I realized it largely depends on the seed so you can have either close well defended area with farms near enough for farmers to go back beyond walls during night and have enough towers.
Thankfully, the western border of the kingdom was stable and did not suffer from any major breakthroughs, enabling me to focus all of my attention to the east. Because of this, I was eventually able to pull through and stabilize the eastern front, and I didn't experience any more breakthroughs in that sector, barring a blood moon or two.
