So i decided to uninstall the mods that i recently installed but to no avail. Things i tried: *Uninstalled all mods. *reinstall skyrim se from steam (also deleted files from my documents and steam common and vortex mods) *reinstalled microsoft redistributable visual c++ 2015-2019. *reinstalled directx 12.

Wildly speculating that you might have. installed some mod that alters caves/dungeons. installed some creature enhancement/replacer mod. installed some NPC enhancer/replacer mod. installed a new lighting package (Can't remember which one - long ago uninstalled - but one lighting mod makes caves pitch black.)
