    Thank you Greg for your response. Yes I have also tried rolling back my Nvidia GeForce driver to an older version and it does the same, meaning that the GeForce Control panel will recognize that my selected display resolution of 5120 x 1440 is the native resolution however Windows 11 does not as Windows 11 believes 2560 x 1440 is the native resolution.

    Simply go to your graphics card control panel --> resolution setting and set your screen resolution and then it's fit full screen .     I purchased a desktop and an ultra wide monitor (2560x1080), and the max resolution option is 1280 x 1024 with all resolutions stretching to the display to the screen obscuring it visually. The driver in the system is "microsoft basic display driver" version 10.0.17134.1 Updating the drivers does nothing, as it says it's all up to date.
