Pre-install (Optional): If you want to pre-install the game using the link. Download the zip files to the created folder using the link mentioned in pre-requisites (don't forget to download voice files zip) go to folder where GenshinImpact.exe is and paste those zip files. open the launcher and you'd see that it says pre-install is complete.
Hey I have a couple of questions. The data to download from 4.5 to 4.6 is 28.42 GB plus if you want to download one of the voice overs which is not a lot.

After you have Steam up and running, download and install Genshin Impact. Download all game files so that the launcher says "Launch". Add Genshin to Steam as a Non-Steam title. When doing so, navigate to the Genshin executable (NOT THE LAUNCHER). It should be at "C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact\Genshin Impact game\GenshinImpact.exe".
