Years ago, the DOA printed a small brochure listing auto repair shops that were "DeLorean friendly" in each state. These shops were, I assume, referred by DOA members whose cars had been repaired or serviced at the shops and who were satisfied enough to recommend the shops to other DeLorean owners.

Buy a broken DeLorean, pay a mechanic to get it running, and pay a mechanic to do all the maintenance. Buy a broken DeLorean, pay a mechanic to rip out all the guts and replace them with more modern parts (say a 2012 Ford Taurus or whatever), and pay a mechanic to do all the maintenance.
Anything outside of regular DeLorean repair from Midwest is on the shoulders of others. Any of the ICE repowering product offerings (Gm / Honda / 3.0 / other) was taken without approval or compensation from a past employee (me) and passed off as their own.
It would then take however long it takes for the vehicle to get to 88mph (which is a long, long, long ass time in a stick DeLorean, but I'll go with the premise that this obviously isn't stock). But the scene implies that he got it to 60ish by power braking it and therefore only now needs to have it accelerate another 20some mph.
No they'll call it WD-40 - New Formula Same Great Taste or something, at this point WD-40 has way too much brand recognition and they're shit at marketing.
