    The key does *not* print the screen. PrtScrn captures the whole screen, and Alt-PrtScrn captures the active window. Either one captures the image to the Windows clipboard.     If you hold down the Windows key and hit the Print screen key it goes to File Explorer\Pictures\Screenshots. The better thing to use is the Snip & Sketch app found in All apps.     An alternative way to the above is pressing Alt + Print Screen on your keyboard - this does exactly the same as the above, but the image copied to the clipboard is only that of the currently active window.
