Hi Does Carnival ever offer a discount on the drink package onboard? I am debating on getting it but am still trying to figure out if it will be worth it or not.
Carnival came out with some new drink of the day coupons that are just sold on board, I know what you are talking about but these are different and these are to save you money. That being said, I just returned from a cruise a month or so ago and they didn't advertise them like they did last summer.
Some people get promotions with the Drinks of Us without qualifying during the cruise. They get it day 1. Sometimes that Drinks on Us is for everywhere in the ship, essentially CHEERS! for that player. I have read of people talking to the Casino helpdesk about how to get this applied. I so wish Carnival would offer, like Royal, a beverage program that includes coffee, sparkling water (like Perrier) Energy drinks etc. Just because we don’t drink alcohol doesn’t mean we drink soda (yuk!).
