Measure the voltage at the battery after the car has sat for several hours. Ensure all lights (interior/exterior) are off. Also measure the voltage at the battery with the car running. You can google acceptable voltages but it should be 12.6-12.7 volts DC to reflect a fully charged battery. You should see about 14.0 +/- volts with the car running.
