So I’ve been a loyal HSN customer for over 10 years now, and last night I went to make a purchase and it kept saying my purchase wouldn’t go through, try again or call Customer Service. I did a quick chat and was told I am basically banned from shopping with HSN due to “excessive returns”. I wasn’t even notified prior to this abrupt ban.

HSN having technical issues with logging into accounts online tried for over hour to refresh, changed browsers, clear cache, downloaded app nothing worked. There should be a banner on website, hosts should mention, or reps should make customers aware of this issue. Hopefully will be fixed soon

I’ve been going through the same for years with HSN. I type in my last name in all capital letters with the last four of my phone numbers as HSN told me to do and the same thing. It’s HSN IT department. there probably using robots. I had told HSN over and over that they to redo there IT department, put humans back in.

Might you also not consider perhaps TIERED shipping, maybe up orders of $50 for $5, orders $75 about $7.50, and then cap the shipping at $10 for orders of $100+?
Apparently, that is for HSN customer service and not for Synchrony CS. There is also a fee to pay your bill through the automated system. After 4 days of this nonsense, I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. Hopefully, that will get some action. All I know is after this experience, I’m paying off the Synchrony HSN card and canceling it.

Someone had posted on QVC that Qurate restructured it’s leadership. They were hired “to strengthen brand differentiation between QVC and HSN by giving each brand team direct control over its own merchandising, planning and programming, brand marketing, broadcast, and ecommerce organizations,” according to Business Insider, March 2, 2002.
