So now that UTR is incorporating more data than in 2017/2018 by having more people using the system, what are people seeing for men’s and women’s adult ratings correlations? I am seeing men’s 3.5 to 4.0 start about 5, and men’s 4.0 to 4.5 start about 6. For women’s I am seeing 3.5 to 4.0...
Does anyone know the UTR level vs age correlation for top male juniors in a competitive section say Florida or Southern California? I know kids aren't...
My son is a sophomore. His UTR is 8.77. He has 2 1/2 years before college. Realistically, how much can he improve his UTR in a year? Anyone know?
I'd rather see all matches included. If needed a weighting factor could be used to reduce the impact of matches with larger UTR spreads. But I also think the above claim that the change "severely hampers ability to raise rating" is exaggerated. In tournament play, it is rare to be paired with someone with a UTR more than 2 from one's own and it is even rarer to beat them or perform well enough ...

Should he stop playing USTA events all together and focus on more ITF and UTR, and or Mens Open? Does UTR Rating now superseded TRN star ratings? The more and more I talk to colleges the more and more they say there using UTR as ...
I have read about UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) and am curious. How is the UTR algorithm? I know the general idea from myutr.com but I want the details. The answer can be a reference elsewhere.
What is the ideal utr (senior year of high school) for a junior wanting to play d1 tennis. Say for a top 30 school, top 75, and those who aren't ranked. I know juniors are somewhat higher ranked on utr than college players So it is confusing. Just wanted to get some input and what you guys think.
Talk Tennis Guru. Not at all. From personal experience, 4.0 men NTRP is about 5.00 to 7.00 UTR. Women's NTRP is about a half point lower than men's NTRP (4.0 man is 4.5 woman). And there is not separation between men's and female's UTR. Okay.
I wanted to know what kind of training, coaching, and how much time a week I need to get from UTR 4 to 7 in this time frame. If anyone could give me some advice.
