Had been playing happily with mods before the update. Downloaded the update. Now my characters who have mods won't save.

Newcomer. Jul 7, 2022. #2. The way I've found to fix this is to open up the properties tab of the Stardew Valley shortcut (assuming it's been made into a shortcut on your desktop) and copying the location. then right click in the SMAPI Installer to paste it and add. \Stardew Valley.dll.

You should choose "Extract here" for your two mod files. After you have done that you should move your whole Mods folder from your desktop to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\. Right-click the Mods folder on the desktop and choose copy. Then right-click on your Stardew Valley folder and choose paste.
