For future searchers, Uniswap interface v4.17.0 made it harder to tell what version you are using. You can hover your mouse over the "routing" icon (directly above and to the left of the SWAP button) and a little window will pop up where in the upper-right-hand corner it will tell you if your trade will use V2 or V3.

Is it possible to use a Uniswap V2 router in Sepolia? what is the contract address of a router? What I have is only for the Goerli test network, and it is already an aging network, and you have to pay to get the tokens which is ridiculous.
Very new to Uniswap and really need to know what the difference is between Uniswap and Uniswap (V2). I have NFT’s that need to be swapped on UniSwap and have to either Download load it or somehow set an account up (or whatever I need to do to Swap them)? Hey, so I basically just did what kalbhairavaa suggested. Almost exact same code, except I put it in a for-loop so that it loops through small time chunks of about a 3 minutes each.
Where address = [WETH address, MEME token address], sender = unlocked account, uniRouter is the json abstraction of the router contract. When I first start the cli and call the function I get 'runtime error: revert' and on any subsequent calls with varying parameters I also get 'revert reason: UniswapV2: LOCKED'.
How can I force a Uniswap V2 swap instead of V3? My tokens are already approved on V2 and in V2 pools, so seems unnecessary to pay again for new approvals, especially with these high gas fees as of late.
Simple fix. Thanks! Turn on Expert Mode. On the Uniswap page click the settings gear icon in the upper right, click "Toggle Expert Mode" to turn it on, enter the word "confirm" in the popup dialog box, keep increasing the "Slippage Tolerance" by 1% until the transaction succeeds.
querylab. I created a pair on uniswap with the above router, it didn’t go through but the Sepolia ETH were deducted from my account. Not sure this router is safe !!🤫🤫🤫. I am also using it. You might do something wrong, as it works just fine.
