For Outlook client, please check below things. Kindly try to search your disappear email with subject to check if its move to different folder or not. Check deleted items to verify that mails are not move to deleted folder. If it’s moved to Deleted folder, recover that email again. Check if you have created any Inbox rule from Outlook client.
