The bulb was 34.00$ at gm that i didnt even need. Fixed with a new wire harness for 12 bucks gm said the wire goes bad alot in silverado. That was my problem tho hope that helps..
OBD2 didn't get to the B-body line until the 1996 model year. Diagnostics for the 96 is much easier as a result, but the tradeoff is that the extra OBD2 junk cost the LT1 motor 5hp. That said, the Tech2 is backwards compatible with the Tech1 and will work fine on your 94 Caprice.
Jul 30, 2006. #1. This is the final post of three for the mods / add-ons I've completed this week. The first two were the Catch-All floor mats and the GM Accessories' bed rug. The bed rug installation and the installation of the bed extender sort of go hand-in-hand, thanks to the way both involve the rear tiedown brackets in the Av's bed.
Problem is the intake gasket originally installed by GM is a faulty design. They re-engineered the gasket and it is a different color to show it is different than the original. Most suggest getting felpro instead since it is much better quality... Check out other threads on here or on a GM Truck forum about changing the intake gasket.
