If you get their credit card (citi) you also get 3% back on costco purchases. So 2% from membership and 3% from the costco credit card. Yeah it’s actually 2% on the Citi card. 4% for gas, 3% when you buy like travel stuff from Costco. You are correct.

So you would buy 3 months of Gold and then use this $1 promotion and it upgrades all of the existing time left on your existing Gold (3 months in this example) to GPU.
