Pickysaurus. Hi all, Just a quick note about the recent Next-Gen update for Fallout 4 (version 1.10.980.0) and its compatibility with F4SE. As you might know, I posted recently on the site news that the update will break F4SE and any associated plugins. I've spoken with Ianpatt of F4SE about this and he had this to say: It's going to be a while.
In this guide I'm going to give you the steps to run Fallout 4 Script Extender through the Fallout 4 launcher. (Beware that by default Windows doesn't show File Extensions so just leave the .exe out o
Fallout 4 Script Extender High FPS Physics Fix Address Library - All in one Buffout 4 Not entirely sure how dependent each mod in this list is on F4SE, but the game runs a charm, 60fps locked, no stuttering, minimal crashes (That are caused by another mod/mods while in W/S mode, that I'm still hunting down), super quick loading times (seconds!).
Add Fallout London to your GOG library and install the mod through the GOG launcher. It will ask for your F4 location. Simply input the folder path of your Steam Fallout 4 version and let it install. 6. Download F4 script extender 1.10.163 [f4se.silverlock.org]. Do NOT download any other version than 1.10.163 Link for the Script Extender above.
Fallout 4 is not so reliable. I installed F4SE because hey, fallout script extender, right? And a mod required it so that's that. But now I cannot play Fallout at all because the F4SE doesn't match the update or whatever, the F4SE thing pops up saying it's out of date and... nothing. It doesn't let me play at all.
F4SE Install. [ Installation ] 1. Copy the dll, f4se_loader.exe, and f4se_steam_loader.dll files to your Fallout installation folder. This is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\, but if you have installed to a custom Steam library then you will need to find this folder yourself.
So my method is. 1. Move your game folder into another place. 2. Start F4SE.exe and play game. 3. return your game folder to the default place. I don't know its exact reason but it worked well. PS. I joined xbox insider program, but I don't know whether it's the reason why I can use f4se or move folder.
The installation is a bit tricky, but here's how you do it: Step 1: Download. Go to the F4SE download page [f4se.silverlock.org]. Download the Fallout 4 runtime and unzip it with 7-Zip. Step 2: Install directory. Go to your Fallout 4 default installation folder. It's inside the Steam folder, which is dependent on your installation path.
1 Launch the game with F4SE without any mods. I altered the plugins.txt file by removing the * in front of each mod. NMM shows all of my mods as being disabled. 2 Launch the game without any F4SE plugins. Copied the files from the plugins folder somewhere else, then deleted the original.
