Hello Walkb. This is just one of the many bugs being worked out with the new 24.xx version. If you have access the old installation download from your account, you can remove version 24 then reinstall your previous version directly from your account. Personally I am blocking version 24 due to the many issues with it needing addressed.

Did you try #2 Files => Browse for Files and Folders => Restore All…. You’ll likely need to choose location…since, new machine. Restore happens as per the configured backup set.
