It was launched on 14 April 1997 (as NRK Alltid nyheter) as part of an effort to attract listeners to DAB digital radio, and was the world's first all-digital news channel.
Radio Norge (formerly Kanal 4 and Kanal 24) is a Norwegian radio station with headquarters in Bergen. It is subsidiary of Bauer Media AS . Radio Norge replaced Kanal 24 at noon on 21 April 2008, with a new profile decided by their listeners.
