The milk jug delete for the intake is not recommended for these newer cars. Best free mod is to remove the spare tire and jack for a weight savings of over 1%. Take off the catback for extra weight savings and noise. Seriously though, spend some money on an Accessport. Best bang for your buck, and you can revert to stock easily.

Then re-bleed the system. Sounds like bleeding should correct it just take your time and remember it may not happen the first time. Start the car with the e-brake on and have your friend help bleed. You can also try to push your car a foot or two forward or backward to turn the flywheel a tad and see if that helps.

Join Date: Jul 2004. Rev limit on STI stock internals. I have a 2005 USDM STI with a TD06H-20G turbo, 740cc injectors, Walbro pump, turbo-back exhaust and stock internals. The car runs excellently and pulls hard to redline (7000 rpm + 20 PSI). It feels like the car could take a few hundred extra rpm's, but how high is it safe to go: 7200 rpm or ...

  10. Adding a spare tire to 2024+ Impreza - NASIOC

    forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2956026

A 17x6.5 wheel is ~ $138. A 17x7 is ~$140. Something like a 205/50/17 tire is $100-$150. So, going the non-traditional route can be much less expensive than trying to get an OEM compact spare kit from Subaru. Then again, you will also need a scissor jack and lug wrench (aka breaker bar with socket). Happy kit assembling.

  11. Inconsistent idle, not needed spooling, loss of power - NASIOC

    forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2877277

WRC Blue. Check all of your intercooler, BPV and vacuum hoses. The "turbo spooling" with the clutch in sound is likely a clamp or hose off. If this is the case the running rough as a result will be a lean misfire and knock. Take it to an expert before it is too late. Last edited by ripman; 06-15-2018 at 04:36 PM.
