I was scrolling through the subreddit looking for a way to fully uninstall the riot client. I saw that it was really hard to figure out so I wanted to know how I could go about fully removing my PC of the riot client. I uninstalled valorant and league but I can't find the file locations or uninstaller for the client. Thanks
Make sure, nothing about the game is running (check the processes on the lower right of your screen). Riot Games launcher, vanguard and other affiliated programs must not be running. Then uninstall using the system settings. Btw, I agree with your comments about the Riot client :)
I had to stop the app from running in the background by going to the task manager, searching for Riot Client, and stopping the process. Then when I went to the uninstall apps settings page, I had to uninstall every Riot game first (for me, that was just LoL). Then, I was able to uninstall Riot Client itself. I hope this helps!
Type “riot” in “My Pc” search box and delete everything (shift + delete). On the first steps you uninstall the Vanguard anti-cheat software, and the games (LoL, Valorant 🤮, etc.) from the windows uninstaller (add/remove program or from control panel). The rest of Riot files must be cleaned by deleting them manually (😩😠).
After all my research, full clean reinstall of windows (NO CLOUD STORAGE OR BACKUP) is the only fix so far since bypassing the bug preventing Device/volumes folder for riot client deletion exists. The malicious files still could reinsert itself through cloud with the wrong reinstallation path of windows.

To uninstall VALORANT, you need to close Riot client first and make sure it isn't running. Go to the window around the right side of the taskbar, open it up, and close the Riot client. (the red and white fist bump icon). From there, you can go to "Add or remove programs" and uninstall VALORANT.
Inner peace, riot client shouldn't show up anywhere, including on your XBOX application Ridiculous. I had to delete the files in 3 separate places. who knows if other rogue files are roaming around, but at least i don't see it when i open up my xbox app anymore.
Check in C:\ for anything Riot and delete it. You can use the search by the windows start menu to search for riot then right click the launcher then open file location. Delete the file. I had files under C, Program Files, Program Files x86, and Documents. Delete all that shit and never trust Riot Games ever again. That shit is malware by ...
