I thought I closed it, but when they changed lenders in 2003, they listed it as a new account with a 2003 open date and I didn't see it until years later. Additionally, I made TWO EXTRA payments on my account in March because I am trying to pay it off sooner rather than later. My auto payment went through on March 9th for my minimum payment of $38.99. Then, I made two additional payments, one on 3/11 and one on 3/16, making my total payments for March $179.95, FAR more than my $38.99 minimum.

I have a Fingerhut account I opened a year and a half ago. They have been great to me. I initally was approved for $250 but within 6 months they increased my CL to $450. I have done online payments and have never had a problem. Typically I use my bank's bill pay system but if I am running tight in between paychecks I occasionally pay online.
Re: Finger hut fresh start account, graduated to regular revolving account in 3 week span!! Congrats!! I myself did the fresh start program, but I dragged out the payments to show good payment history. My initial SL was $300, and a week ago they just bumped me up from $1350, to $2k!!
