I just use PCSX2 anyway. For Ps2 Games to be run in RPCS3, the game has to be in the "PKG format" ! It won't work otherwise, additionnaly, the way to install a "Package game" (that's what "PKG" means) you don't press "ADD Game", you press "Install Packages/Raps/Edats". Of course some Package game files need more files to be playable like "Rap ...

PCSX2 is the gold standard for PS2 emulation on PC, IIRC. There's still a few occasional slowdowns for more graphically-demanding games (Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1/2, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, I'm looking at y'all in particular), and maybe the rare graphical glitch, and you'll probably want a higher-end PC for the best results, but otherwise it's a well-established emulator ...
You can navigate by clicking on the various tabs for each company. When you click on the link to Github the first link you land on will be the Home tab, this tab explains how to use the Megathread. VagrantShadow. •. There are tons of emulators you could put on Xbox. You can play NES, SNES, N64, even GameCube games on the system. Pretty much the Xbox Series S is one of the best emulator systems you can get if you want something that allow you to play a ton of games from multiple generations.
Everblue 1 and 2. Space Channel 5. Fatal Frame 1 2 and 3. Silent Hill 2, 3, and 4. Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. Dark Cloud 1 and 2. Drakengard 1. If you really want more there is 2 but its not great and not even part of the lore anymore really. I'm sure I missed a lot, just so many great games on the ps2.
Your best bet is to get an Odin or an Odin 2 or the new Aya Neo Android device or the Pimax Portal or the Razer Edge. the rg405v can run ps2 at 4k. Out of the box, without tinkering and tweaking there's none. RG405M.
Yes, bios are specific to PS2 consoles. But like anything else, they can be dumped and shared. You can use almost any PS2 bios with PCSX2. The only one the developers suggest not use is the very first one.
The Razer Edge, by reputation at least (I don't own one), can handle PS2 better than the Odin, possibly even comparably with the Steam Deck, for a similar price to the Steam Deck. It has its own drawbacks, though; it's not quite as big as the Deck, but the aspect ratio is bad for PS2, it's a phone-sized "tablet" with a clamp-style controller ...
It occurs randomly after every 4 or 5 minutes. Both games run at 60 fps full speed with no frame drops between but only during this problem the frame drops to 40 and then jumps back to 60. I've noticed this same problem in other games as well where they run stable with no lag. I'm pretty sure its random since I'm unable to replicate the problem ...
