  2. Any opinions on West Elm furniture? : r/InteriorDesign - Reddit

West Elm's quality is mid to high, but there's a good amount of variance. As far as I know, they source most of their products from multiple factories. Unlike some retailers, they lock up exclusivity rights on their products, so you won't see them anywhere else.

  3. Does anyone have good experiences with west elm?

I have been an interior designer for over 30 years. Over the years I often selected items from West Elm and Pottery Barn. I watched as the quality really changed with so much being made overseas. Just today, I received an order for clients. It was a bunch of sticks for a tall vase.

I guess you could say the quality is comparable on some pieces. West elm offers much more inspired design and proportions than IKEA. As well as nicer fabrics and finishes. IKEA offers modular Scandinavian design. West elm offers mid-century modern styles which is arguably one of the most sought after styles and expensive aesthetics.

Does anyone have issues with West Elm's multiple charges/ charge attempts? I placed an order for a light at the end of June, but since it's on backorder I'm still waiting for it. However, since I placed the order, I've had multiple charge attempts (3). Every time I call (2 hours in total waiting!) or write, their reps assure me they don't see ...

  6. West Elm - My experience - what is your experience?

Hi! former west elm employee here. Unfortunately, your story is one that I heard a lot during my 1.5 years working there. From a former employees perspective, the delivery company (assuming it’s Ryder) definitely knows what white glove delivery is. During my time at west elm, Ryder was rude and hard to work with.

West elm can vary— look to their contractor / commercial grade stuff if you want stuff that lasts. Crate Barrel is great. Super high quality and no slumping after many (10+ years). It’s expensive, but certainly lasts. I see it as a more stylish room /board. Can’t speak for rove.

    www.reddit.com/r/Mattress/comments/18bgl9b/thoughts_on...

Does anyone have thoughts on the West Elm Simple Bed Frame? Is this a sturdy bed frame for a single person who is using it for daily sleeping and not a guest room? I’ve been using box springs for years so this would be my first “non box spring” platform bed. This is the headboard I am eyeing. If that bed frame above is not substantial ...

Likewise, any finishing tips are greatly appreciated! I found this thread as a novice trying to refinish a FB Marketplace West Elm Stowe Coffee & Side Table for my home. Antique Walnut - 2 coats on the larger table - 3 coats + ultra matte top coat on the smaller one. Hope this helps someone!

Hello! I’m thinking about getting a new couch (very exciting!). After a long search, I’ve narrowed it down to the Andes Reversible Sectional from West Elm (linked below). The problem is that West Elm doesn’t have the couch in stores and it’s online photos are sub-par - and, it’s non-refundable. So, I’m nervous about making the ...

  11. Thoughts on West Elm Anton Solid Wood collection?

    www.reddit.com/r/InteriorDesign/comments/mlesq3/thoughts...

For the bed, we had to have a piece replaced because when they installed it, they didn’t use enough washers so the screws pushed through the wood and caused cracking. But luckily west elm customer service replaced the piece completely free of charge. Other than that, everything has kept up well and I’ve liked all my furniture.
