State Farm doesn’t sell you insurance assuming you have a claim, that’s a different premium. And the concept that you’ve been with an insurer forever somehow entitles you to a policy for $1 is beyond ridiculous. I always laugh at the “i’ve been a client for 30 hears and i’m subsidizing everybody else”. Yes, that was last years ...

My total payoff is about $11,000. I understand how depreciation works, but State Farm's examples are displeasing. If my total settlement were the ~$15,700, that would put me at a positive $4,700, give or take. I checked Carfax, and the closest thing within that budget is a 2005 GMC Envoy SLT with 203k miles.

We usually do about 60-70 State Farm roofs per year. During 2021, we did not do a single State Farm roof where the adjuster inspected the roof and authorized the replacement of the roof. The only State Farm roofs we did was due to fighting with State Farm about uniform appearance (matching), discontinued product, appraisal, etc.
