Open the game on Xbox and then save. then close the game and let it sync to the cloud. Then open the game on PC and let the save sync to the PC. Close game. Open with a save editor and make your changes. Open the PC game back up. Load the new save. Then re-save while in game. Close game and let it sync back to the cloud.

Import save file. I've added a button in the settings sidebar to import your save file, this is not 100% accurate (yet?), but will help fill in a lot of the collectibles you have collected. Other changes - You can't pick any dedicated weapon mods as a mod in the builder anymore.- Rings, mods, etc. are only pickable once in the builder now.-
I was hoping that there’d a save editor already, since they usually enable you to add specific gear. I’m just at a point in the game where I want what I want, and I’m tired of hunting for it, since it too is a very tedious process.
The save editor can do more stuff like turning romance flags on/off you can download it by joining the dai modding discord here then going to the daitools_downloads channel and downloading the plotflag editor from there.
For me personally since I only was joining my friends through invite code my GUID doesn't change so all I had to do was join the new hosts world create character and a .sav with my same GUID appears, we then closed the world, new host went into the players folder deleted my new save file that got made and dragged in my original save file.
mandatory: do backups regularly! -all items in shop mod (*read usage instructions*) lets you buy *everything* monster mats, decoratons but also some stuff that you need to be careful with and is best avoided (kulve/safi weapon "chunks"*, endemic life which doesnt count, research points as an item)
