The limit is per order. The $500 cards are one per order, so I usually just stand at self checkout and buy, pay, repeat until I have the total I need. The only reason I have a Sam's card is for the discounted Disney gift cards. I was sad to see they recently went up on price for their $500 cards (2nd price increase within the last 2 yrs).

You can consolidate giftcards on the site, so say combine two Target cards and just delete the empty one.

I did notice that there was a separate week-long sale (starting today) for 10% off video game gift cards which may add to the confusion over whether non-Target gift cards are also 10% off.

I was trying to use a $10 gift card on a $100 order with the 10% Disney Visa Discount. The app will not allow you to use the DV discount with any amount of gift card.
