The One X or the Series S? Of course the Xbox Series X is the best for all categories, but its also the most expensive option, and I'm trying to look into the cheaper options before considering the expensive one. I'm aware that the Series S has faster load times, higher frame rates, etc. But what's more important to me personally is graphic ...
Absolutely. It's 4 times more powerful. That's a huge difference, and it will let you play next gen games as well. You're gonna need to buy a new console relatively soon in order to play new games (without being limited to streaming), and Series S is a great choice for that if you wanna save money and don't need 4K. 4.
Xbox One X just gives you enhanced games. For longer term. Just get a series S. Same games as Series X, just cheaper because it aims at 1080p 120fps and doesn’t focus on 4k 120fps like series X. But you still get next gen features and games. Xbox One X, uses the same architecture as a Xbox One, and just aims for 4k up scaling at best.
The One S has a very slightly higher clock CPU. A 1.4tf GPU (Vs 1.31 in the OG XBOne), and it can play 4k content, whereas the original can only output 1080p, for Blu-ray etc.
I have an XBox One X and my friend has a Series X. Games look a bit better on the Series X, but the biggest difference is load times. The 1X is a slug vs the Series X.
The difference between Xbox One and Xbox Series S was astounding. Everything would take minutes to load for moments and into games on Xbox One. This just pops right up now. Hitting was so much easier! I could see the ball and read pitches better. The gameplay was so smooth!
XBox Series S advantages: Cheaper and accessible. Game Pass Ultimate. Looks are subjective. But I like how the Series S looks, not to mention it's compact. Objectively though, the PS5 is just way more powerful, has a disc drive, and is home to Sony (timed) exclusives. 4. Reply. mcshaggin.
I'm just pointing out these info from the linked page. Xbox Series S includes: the console, controller and high speed HDMI. Xbox Series X includes: the console, controller and Ultra high speed HDMI. Series X: Up to 8K, High Dynamic Range. Series S: Capable of 8K, High Dynamic Range*.
xbox one x is discontinued, any comparison would harm potential costumers. Series S its the way to go especially bc it will push better framerates for older/new games, hope this helps.
The shoulder buttons on the Series feels more solid and better built. The triggers on the Series controller are textured for a better feel, whereas the One's triggers are smooth plastic. The shoulder buttons on the One controller feel fine, but they feel a little more "hollow" and cheap. By far the biggest difference is the D-pad.
