Hi, I’m trying to download WoW on a new pc but the download speed is extremely slow. I tried everything that was suggested by blizzard support, as well as reinstalling battlenet, and disabling my antivirus and firewall, but nothing seems to work. I have the bandwidth box unchecked too. Any help would be appreciated.
yep, seems like battle.net really is not the best choice for gaming, its frustratig tha everytime you eant to just sit and play there is another 94 GB update that takes hours to download. Just WOW. I’m having the same issue where the battle net setup gets stuck downloading new files. I have tried all of Blizzard’s recommended fixes as well as the fixes in the video above on multiple occasions and it is still stuck. Any help would be appreciated. I am on a fresh windows 10 install besides steam and origin, everything is default. *edit
These client download links do not work, and keep coming back saying Failed, at least on my laptop they do??I do not care about foreign languages, and just want the game clients, as Blizzard has decided, in their infinite quest for more cash, to make the clients provided on your Battle.net account not work, unless you buy Reforged, which I do not want to do.
Make sure you are logged into the Battle.net app with the same email you’ve logged into the forums/website with. I do see Battle for Azeroth purchased on your account and it’s showing the subscription is active. Try refreshing the Battle.net app by closing it out for a few minutes and then re-open it. Its something with blizzard I am assuming. nothing to do besides cancel download. tried running and just saving. SAME issue on my cell phone, I tried to download the installer file on to my phone to try to transfer it onto my laptop, and it kept retrying the download- it kept downloading to about half way and then restarting from 0 again.
