I've applied for commercial banking but Im yet to take the assessment. If you guys have done them, are they the same level of difficulty as the questions in the practice questions area? My numerical reasoning isn't great, but the questions in the lloyds practice don't seem too hard so I just want to know.

The sort code is the main thing. The address is used to cross reference the branch. Many years ago there were sort code books (the equivalent of a telephone directory for banking) where you could use the address or sort code to identify which branch had been quoted.
Thanks for your reply. They do a lot of lending with their commercial bank, so I assumed hours could be stretched in quant positions. I was told they use derivatives to hedge lending risk. I don’t mind doing 12 hour days, anything more would get me worried, obviously would prefer 9-5.

You can switch any account. Although sometimes there are requirements to have a couple of direct debits on the account, or to transfer in a certain amount of money (which you can then immediately transfer back out), there's no way for a bank to know (or fairly judge) which is your 'main' account.
Alternatively, electronic bank statements can also be accepted for all bank accounts (the account itself does not have to be exclusively online) as long as they are either accompanied by a letter from the bank on its headed stationery confirming that the documents are authentic or which bear the official stamp of the issuing bank on every page.
I was consider to open a savings account with Lloyds bank as that is the bank i am currently with but I am unser whether or not to do so as I have read mixed reviews. I am new to this sort of thing so im not sure whether to do it or not.
