AdGuard Pro. Even works on Android with Chrome. I have already tested a couple of ad blockers for safari on macos and ios including the free Adguard, 1blocker, Adblock Pro and I conclude that Adguard works best although there are times when using youtube that ads are displayed or there is a problem with video playback.

I'd say the best app is AdGuard for Android, downloaded from their website. It has lots of options, app filters, DNS filters, categories of lists, different formats of filter lists, logs, automation, use with or without root, a whole shebang of stuff. Pretty good. My premium has run out today and I was greeted by a shit ton of adverts. I don’t care if a good ad blocker costs over 200 a year. I’m not giving google a single penny from this point on.
The downside of this was that some of the functionality was more limited, the upside is that you can use an ad blocker that can't see, view or read the web pages you visit or your browsing history. Over time, the Safari ad blockers have got a lot better and can now block all ads (including YouTube ads), trackers and other web page annoyances.
qUxUp. •. adguard is the best. get it from the developers website. you can usually pick up a 9 device lifetime license from stacksocial for 30$. it also used to be free if you sign up for their beta. it simply is the most functional android adblocker for those who are unrooted.

Try nextdns.io It’s an adblocker at the dns level. I’ve used it for 2-3 years now. Every once in a while I’ll click an ad in search results and it throws up a message about not being able to connect.
