  3. How Do the Benell Semis Differ from the Stoeger Shotguns?

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/238304-how-do-the-benell-semis...

Hey all, I was talking with a few other shotgun lovers the other night and the topic came up about wanting a new semi. One wanted to switch to a semi for Home Defense and the other just wanted a reliable semi kind of an all purpose shotgun he could use for home, clay target fun and also some 3-gu...

  4. Baikal vs Stoeger Shotguns - SASS Wire Forum

    forums.sassnet.com/.../topic/195374-baikal-vs-stoeger-shotguns

I thought a tuned Stoeger was supposed to open after the first shot. There are shooters that hold the Stoegers closed and just let them flop open for their reload. My first Stoeger lasted about 5 years, when it started opening after the first shot, firing both barrels at once, failing to fire, stock cracking, etc. I decided to replace it.

  5. Cody Conagher deluxe sporting rifle/Stoeger Shotguns

    forums.sassnet.com/index.php?/topic/299967-cody-conagher...

I also have two shotguns that I am not using. One is an old nickel stoeger. It has a chip in the upper stock and is a very loose gun. I bought it for an extra when one of my others was being repaired. I would sell it for $300.00. Other is a stoeger slicked up my Goat Neck Clem. It is a little stiff for my liking but a good gun.

  6. Unusual Stoeger ejection failure and simple fix

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/205868-unusual-stoeger-ejection...

Here is a nugget of info for Stoeger owners. We took a bunch of new shotguns to the range for test-fire today prior to shipping to their proud new owners, and one of the shotguns had consistent Fail-to-eject malfunctions from the get-go. Using Remington Gun Club 1-1/8oz loads, about 6 out of 8 rounds would hang up the empty in the ejection port.

  7. reversing triggers on Stoeger shotguns - SASS Wire Forum

    forums.sassnet.com/index.php?/topic/289531-reversing...

Of the 5 shotguns I use at various times (distance related) for cowboy action, only one came with the triggers reversed. After some 33+ years of shooting Stoegers with triggers aligned as they were at the factory...

  8. sxs SKB, CZ, or Stoeger - SASS Wire Forum

    forums.sassnet.com/.../topic/310718-sxs-skb-cz-or-stoeger

One is wore out. They are serviceable, entry-level shotguns. I recently bought a Longhunter-tuned CZ Sharptail. I prefer shooting it to the Stoegers. It has a chrome-lined barrel that facilitates removing melted plastic from black powder shotgun shells. Borrow the shotguns you are interested in for a stage at a local match.

  9. Stoeger SxS's - SASS Wire Forum

    forums.sassnet.com/index.php?/topic/356291-stoeger-sxss

It`s hard to kick old habits to the curb, I pattern my shotguns and was happy to find that the test fired only Stoeger was a deluxe and came with chokes installed. The chokes that Stoeger uses are available for a reasonable price from the Stoeger Distributor in Canada. The chokes they sell are labeled IGA Choke.

  10. Stoeger M3000 hammer falls, but round doesn't fire. Advice?

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/237119-stoeger-m3000-hammer...

Recently my Stoeger M3000 has been failing to fire the round in the chamber. The hammer drops, but nothing happens. I eject the shell and the primer hasn't been touched. This problem is intermittent. Usually occurring once every 25 rounds. It has always occurred on my first shot except for once w...

  11. Stoeger M3000/M3K desired loads - Brian Enos's Forums

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/214748-stoeger-m3000m3k-desired...

We use the Federal to test-fire every shotgun before it ships. You may get one short stroke ejection failure every 3-400 rounds with this, unless the gun has been slicked up for light loads. With the proper mods, they will cycle from the very first shot without Stoeger's recommended "break-in" with heavy shells. What HASN'T worked-
