Padre Pio. Pio of Pietrelcina (born Francesco Forgione; 25 May 1887 – 23 September 1968), widely known as Padre Pio ( Italian for 'Father Pius'), was an Italian Capuchin friar, priest, stigmatist, and mystic. He is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church, celebrated on 23 September. [ 2]
The shrine has a glove of Saint Padre Pio as a relic. Rosary prayer sessions are held at the shrine on Wednesday evenings (7:00 PM), and some individuals have claimed to have experienced miracles resulting from praying at the shrine. In 2009, the shrine suffered damage during a robbery attempt of the shrine's donation box.

( 2024-06-20) The Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Caysasay is a coral-hewn Roman Catholic chapel in Barrio Caysasay in Taal, Batangas belonging to the Archdiocese of Lipa in the Philippines. It was built in 1639 by Fr. Alonso Rodriguez to replace a temporary structure built in 1611. [2]
Establishment. On November 5, 1795, the Archbishop of Manila assigned Las Piñas, then a small town of farmers and fishermen, to the Augustinian Recollects to establish a new church. Diego Cera de la Virgen del Carmen, a native of Spain, traveled from Mabalacat, Pampanga province and arrived on the town on the day after Christmas of 1795.
