I've used CapCut Mobile version. Now I want to edit videos on my Windows laptop using CapCut. I've downloaded and installed the Windows desktop version. But I see that there's also the CapCut Online Editor. Can someone explain why I would use one or the other? Thanks very much for any help.
so in capcut, when i play my video to see how it looks, it lags at the start of every clip. But when i export, its fine and theres no lag, but the lag in capcut makes it impossible to edit. Does anyone know a fix or why it does this?

Capcut does so much for free. And even if you need/want pro it's still cheaper than adobe premiere or final cut. Outrageous seems like a stretch...
So apparently you're supposed to press the "invite friends" and then get an invitation link. Then you download a capcut exe to install, but this time upon install it shows a popup when you log in to insert the invitation code that is also shown in the link. However capcut seems to know if you had it downloaded on desktop previously.
Is there any news for CapCut Pro for Pc now? I'm still looking to get CapCut Pro on my Pc but I just can't find anything where are the good old cracked days. Now without fun, there is currently no CapCut Pro version on Pc?
The CapCut project files should be located in the "CapCut Drafts" folder that is created in the same drive you installed CapCut to. If you're in CapCut, on the right side of the screen in the Details section you can see the exact location where it's saved in the "Saved" section.

It’s an outrage that a company spending tens of millions a year in development to give users a free alternative to Adobe, paywalls a few minor features and continues to give 95% of the service away for fee. Fade in fade out is like bare basic things for video editing, making them premium is just pure crap.
However, I found myself able to produce video much much faster on Capcut, especially with my subscriptions come with tons of transition effects, text effects, auto captioning. The only part where I think capcut falls short is color grading my c-log footage.
