MacBook Air 2020 - Max Charging Speed Hello, I have a 2020 MacBook Air i7/16GB RAM/256GB SSD. I was wondering what is the maximum charging speed. I know the MacBook ships with a 30-W charger (I believe); however, can the laptop take advantage of the 61-W charger? What about an 87-W charger or even higher?
In the box of my MacBook Air (M2, 2022) there was a 30 watt charger. That is correct. That is what's included with this Mac. That MacBook Air can charge at normal speed with the included adapter. It can also "fast charge" ("up to 50 percent battery in around 30 minutes") with some higher-wattage sources.
