I don't think quizizz is really a good tool for memorization. Quizlet actually has an adaptive learning tool that tracks your answers and does spaced practice and tracks high frequency errors making you only review what you still haven't mastered making for a more productive memorization system if you make an account and use the LEARN feature.
It was mostly just a frustrating experience because Quizizz would change stuff around every few weeks and the quizzes would constantly have issues with iPads (constant orientation-switching even when orientation was locked on the iPads). As I am in East Asia, iPads were the only tech the school had (because iPad = sophisticated).
I've used Quizizz a lot for in class quizzes. But I would like to try and do a school qide quiz (set as an assignment, students have 3 weeks to participate or not). However, I am not sure about the participant limit. According to the webside, for the free account (that I have), the limit is 100 participants.
Put in a question where the answer is obviously fake but is marked as the correct answer. The auto answer bot and the quick select bot only looks at the answer field in the code itself and not the actual question itself. Ok so I was using quizizz yesterday for a test, we used it again this morning at about 11:00 at the latest and their were these new avatars that you could customize, later on the day I checked again at 11:55 same thing, I noticed that these new avatars (similar to reddit).
I hate Kahoot with a passion, but use Quizizz every unit. My juniors despise kahoot because all their other teachers use it. They have devoured quizizz and beg me to make new ones every week. You can also use Socrative.com. they have a space race option which is kind of kahootish but is self paced.
Here's a free tool that can allow you convert a flashcard and export it to Google Forms, Kahoot and Quizizz.
