The Leanin' Tree Museum of Western Art was a private art museum located in Boulder, Colorado. It exhibited the private art collection of Ed Trumble, founder and chairman of Leanin' Tree, Incorporated. Trumble is a publisher of fine art greeting cards since 1949. The collection also included American western art spanning five decades.

The series of paintings depicts the growth and fall of an imaginary city, situated on the lower end of a river valley, near its meeting with a bay of the sea. The valley is distinctly identifiable in each of the paintings, in part because of an unusual landmark: a large boulder is situated atop a crag overlooking the valley.

The museum was founded in 1902, when Judge Junius Henderson was appointed its first curator. The University of Colorado Museum is housed on the University of Colorado Boulder campus in the Henderson Building. The museum is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
