I use a VPN just so my real IP doesn’t stay in megadb (steamrip’s downloads site) logs in case of a dmca takedown. Yes the downloads are painfully slow on steam rip, so use a download manager to speed the downloads up. I use FreeDownloadManager, but you can use that or any download manager listed in the megathread.
