Groups are invited to experience professional musicals, concerts, and other special events at the Axelrod Theater with no ticketing fees! We offer ample parking and buses are welcome. Groups of 10 or more can reserve seating in advance by signing a contract and making a 20 percent deposit.
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center was named after Dr. Herbert and Evelyn Axelrod, long-time residents of Deal, NJ, and supporters of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Monmouth County (now the JCC Jersey Shore). APAC officially opened its doors in 2005.
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center is located in suburban Ocean Township, though the theater is close driving distance to restaurants in Deal and Asbury Park. The Bar Room and Kitchen and One 18, both on Norwood Avenue in Deal, are within three minutes of the theater.
