My friend doesn't have Steam account and he asked me to help him to create it. So, we're trying to create, but captcha is clearly glitched. I tried listening, but it doesn't work either, I get this message: 'Your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.
Even though Steam doesn't say it can't exceed 64 characters, if you make it 65+, it will accept it for account creation, but as soon as you log out, it will not accept the password. Also, it will tell you the Captcha is WRONG no matter what. I have posted to Steam, requesting they address this issue. We will see if they do. .
Just got my deck today. Can't create account after following THEIR instructions. After verifying email, NORMALLY, you then are redirected to a create password page. THIS IS BASIC SHIT. Not with Steam LOL. They take you to a page that tells you to return to account creation, which is impossible. Now ypu have no password and email already in use.
My brother is trying to make himself a steam account but he can't. The new "Create an account page" doesn't ask for a username or password, just for your email - and after you hit continue the page says "There was a problem creating your Steam account, please try again later." Then he recieves a verification email from Steam to verify his email.
