The Pink Panther. Pink Panther and Pals is an American animated television series and a modern adaptation of the classic DePatie-Freleng Pink Panther shorts from the 1960s. The series was produced by Desert Panther Productions and Rubicon Studios in association with Mirisch-Geoffrey-DePatie-Freleng and MGM Television.
This is a list of the original 124 Pink Panther animated shorts produced between December 18, 1964, and February 1, 1980, by DePatie–Freleng Enterprises (DFE Films). [ 1 ] 92 shorts were released theatrically. [ 2 ] The first 62 entries appeared on Saturday mornings via The Pink Panther Show under the same umbrella title starting in 1969 on NBC.
Called “the world’s most flamboyant vehicle”, the bright pink custom car was designed by Ed Newton and built in 1969 at Bob Reisner California Show Cars by Ed "Newt" Newton, Dan Woods, and customizers Joe Bailon, Bill "The Leadslinger" Hines, and Bill Honda.
