To get the degree symbol , °, hold the <ALT> key and press 0176. I don't recall what the diameter symbol is, but if you go to Start->Run and type charmap, it will bring it up. This may be a simple question, but here it goes. Is there a way to enter a plus/minus symbol in dimension strings or level tags. As architects, we all know that existing dimensions are not an absolute. I tried to input it as +/- but keep getting this message "enter a value or a formula starting with '='. Is there no way to do this?
Is there a way to add a plus/minus symbol to dimensions if the dim is rounded? For example, an actual dimension of say 20' 4-9/16" would display as 20' 4-5/8"+/-. In this case rounding would have been set to the nearest 1/8". The goal is to make the user aware if dimension string is being modified by system settings. Thanks!

The first one will define the object you want to add the spot elevation to. The second click will define the position of the target symbol. If both click's are in the same place (or very close), even turning on leader will create it exactly where the spot elevation is, thus being almost impossible to select it and move it.
