    We keep reading that fanny pack carry is a "grey area" of Illinois gun law. Since Shaun ***** was aquited of charges related to carrying an unloaded, encased handgun, with a loaded magazine at the ready hasn't this been established as a precedent in Illinois case law by now?

    Maybe to people familiar with this topic. I'd think most people would be more likely to think "Nothing screams nerd more than a fanny pack." In any case, I'm not sure fanny pack carry is a great idea, but I doubt most people would jump straight to "gun." Maybe we should all just work to bring the fanny pack back in vogue.
