The Bob & Tom Show is a syndicated US radio program established by Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold at radio station WFBQ in Indianapolis, Indiana, March 7, 1983, and syndicated nationally since January 6, 1995.
Password Plus was a Mark Goodson - Bill Todman Production and Super Password was a Mark Goodson Production. Password Plus aired from January 8, 1979 to March 26, 1982, for 801 episodes. The program also won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show in 1982. [ 3] Super Password aired for 1,151 episodes from September 24, 1984 to March 24, 1989.
A newer, 30-minute Bob and Tom television show aired weeknights and late Saturday evenings from October 5, 2020, through January 8, 2022, on MyIndy-TV 23 (WNDY-TV, Indianapolis). [ 21 ] [ 22 ] A 20-minute version of Bob and Tom Tonight continues to be posted at 8 p.m. (Eastern Time) weekdays on YouTube and Facebook.
TV Guide named it the "top-rated syndicated series" in a 2008 article, [2] and in 2013, the magazine ranked it at No. 2 in its list of the 60 greatest game shows ever. [3] The program has also come to gain a worldwide following with 60 international adaptations. The syndicated series' 41st season premiered on September 11, 2023.
Text logo. Tiny Desk Concerts is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of former All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C.. The first Tiny Desk Concert came about in 2008 after Boilen and NPR Music editor Stephen Thompson left South by Southwest frustrated that they couldn't hear the music over the crowd noise.
Once all contestants have been reviewed, a winner is chosen, and the judges return to the winner to congratulate them. The winner of each week's episode wins $50,000 and a holiday-themed trophy. The series had its first Halloween -themed special episode entitled The Great Halloween Fright Fight which aired on October 28, 2014. [ 4 ]
Every three months, the four top winners during that period would return for a quarterly contest. The winner would earn $1,000 and the right to compete in the annual Tournament of Champions. The winner of the annual contest won $5,000, received a free trip to Macedonia , and faced the previous year's champion in a best-of-seven match for $10,000.
