Homer is a town in Cortland County, New York, United States of America. The population was 6,405 at the 2010 census. [2] The name is from the Greek poet Homer. Included within the district is the Homer Town Hall (1908), the 3 + 1 ⁄ 2-story Jebediah Barber building (1863), 3-story Brockway Block (1887–1888), and residences dating to the 1810s.
