Pricing them out all over the place its about $1000.00. I was thinking Discount Tire, Big O Tires, Sears, Firestone..... one of the major ones I can get a card then pay it off in 6 months with no interest. I just dont want to drop the cash right now because were moving in a couple months plus I didnt want to max out my Amazon card.
Spouse and I had 750+ scores until hours cut and illness hit our home last year. Attempting to rebuild credit after having credit card late over 60 days and house being late for 180+ days before they'd refi. The last pull 580 (a month ago). In dire need of credit card for tires, roughly $2k, for both vehciles.
Congrats on the approval, i just got a Tire Plus last moth with 1200 CL. They pulled my TU credit report, and I was approved with a 568 CS so it seems to be a fairly easy card to be approved for. I also had sucess getting approved for a JcPenny card with a 500 CL same credit score. Hoping this will help with the rebuilding.
I was getting an oil change at tires plus and the guy said if I apply for their credit card and get approved then I get $20 off my oil change making it $9.99. Got approved for $1200 they didnt even ask for income on application just social. Don't know my fico score only know my transrisk score is 66...
Well I just apped online for tires plus card because i need tires and another member just said he got approved. Well, they approved me for $1200 as well. that'll help my debt ratio and my GTO will LOVE the new tires!!!!
The metal wire was showing through on my others so this was out of necessity. I was approved for $1050. Anything over $349 has 6 months no interest so I put new tires on my explorer and then we put new tires on our van also which maxed out the card and we paid the cash difference (like $100) for the rest. So from week 1 card was maxed.
