r/FinalMouse: The official subreddit of the FinalMouse. Hello fellow gamers and enthusiasts! I've been a user of quite a few mice over the years, going from wired to wireless back in ~2018 with the Razer Viper Ultimate, and then switched to the G Pro Superlight a few years after.
Price to performance is outstanding, competing with Logitech and Razer in a lower weight class. Offering the same or better performance than the competition. To conclude, the Finalmouse UltralightX is a well built mouse that performs more in line with the competitors on the market such as Razer, Logitech, G-Wolves and Vaxee.
FinalMouse was the first company to develop a full honeycomb design which allowed them to dramatically cut down on weight while still maintaining a medium to large size mouse. The Ultralight Pro and Phantom were 67 grams. The Air58 was 58 grams. Last, the Ultralight 2 is 47 grams but moved from a medium/large chassis to a small chassis.

The Air58 seems to be a really good mouse so far. The problems I find with it may not be problems for someone else. Scroll click is slightly stiffer than the main buttons, scroll wheel itself is very very light and loose. Feels similar to some of the steelseries mice. Side buttons are squishy and have a fair bit of pretravel, much like the divina EC series, not the best, but tolerable. 8/10.
Finalmouse did do some great work optimizing the wireless performance of the mouse, as it does feel more responsive than other mice I've tried. No hiccups with 1-4k wireless performance (8k polling is still undergoing development.
Finalmouse as a company overall is a big red flag, it's not just limited to their marketing. Their products have poor QC and honestly they use more standard technical specs that they market as unique. They don't have any software but I remember another mouse company's software was able to detect their mouse.
