Choose to have the code sent to your trusted phone number. You'll get a text message or phone call from Apple with your verification code. This text message might include an additional domain validation line. This line includes the @ symbol, the website name, and your code (for example: @icloud.com #123456 %apple.com).

follow up to last post I signed out of icloud, restarted phone and now trying to sign back in to icloud. It's been on the signing in screen for 1/2 hr. Very frustrated!

I need help with signing into iCloud. I am in a different country using a new phone number and do not have access to my old phone number (or the messages it receives). For logging into iCloud it requires a verification code being sent to my old number. I am not offered the option to send the verification code to my new number.
