If you didn’t or don’t know, close SketchUp and find the installer in your Downloads folder. Right click on it, choose Run as administrator, and then choose Repair. After it completes, do a cold reboot of your computer. Then try opening the Extension Warehouse. If that doesn’t work there’s another trick to try.
Since the 3d warehouse is not supported on these old versions, no point in keeping millions and millions of copies of the files on hand. The 3 ways to get files from the warehouse, have been for a few years now : use the web free version. no compatibility issue; use a supported pro version. no issue there (if you’re up to date).

The issue that had been introduced by changes to comply with more recent versions of Chromium, has been fixed. SketchUp 2017 and 2018 are showing the 3D Warehouse window contents ok now.

3D Warehouse just keeps loading 3D Warehouse. We found out something important. 3D Warehouse now seems to need at least version 88 of Chromium, which is built into SketchUp. The update to version 88 happened when SketchUp 2021.1 was released. If you are on 2021.0 or 2021.0.1, you would be seeing the problem.
